CEREC Crowns, Bridges, & Implant Restorations

Completed in ONE DAY!

CEREC or Cerec (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, or CEramic REConstruction) is a method of CAD/CAM dentistry developed by W. Mörmann and M. Brandestini at the University of Zurich in 1980 for creating dental restorations.
According to NorthWest Smile Design, CEREC crowns are made of a solid block of ceramic or resin materials. This type of crown is made right in our office during a single visit. There is no need to construct a temporary crown, take impressions for the permanent crown, and wait for the crown to be made at an off-site dental laboratory to be returned to our office about a two to three weeks later.

Grinding and Shaping of the Restoration

CEREC crowns greatly resemble natural tooth shade and structure. Patients can talk and laugh without a crown being noticed at all. Not only do they look great, but they are made of the strong and durable CEREC porcelain. From time consumption to flawless design, CEREC crowns are greatly beneficial for our patients.
